HeartMath® is a well-tested and widely used system that trains individuals to reduce stress by focusing on their breathing and evoking heart-felt emotions. This practice promotes the development of a wave-like heart rhythm pattern that synchronizes with breathing, called ‘coherence.’ Achieving high coherence is very beneficial because it means the heart can rapidly adapt to changing physical and psychological needs resulting in focused clarity, improved emotional balance and sustained peak performance. Dr. Baldwin is a Certified HeartMath Trainer, a HeartMath Coach and has completed the HeartMath Interventions Program which qualifies her to work in clinical settings.
